t::here is a translocal space where particular experiences of diverse Eastern European contexts intersect, making common issues emerge. t::here started as an informal online meeting of people working with dance and performance theory in Bratislava, Budapest, Innsbruck, Ljubljana, Olomouc, Vienna and Zagreb. Gathering momentum while remaining open to fluctuations of participants, it has become a regular monthly online encounter. t::here is open to anyone interested in dance and performance theory in the region. t::here does not work towards specific outcomes; rather, it is committed to making a space available for people to meet and exchange without any predetermined agenda. t::here materialises in irregular in-person meetings when possible.
